The new Laddies.....

It would be nice to know everyones views on the new site...

Now totally unbaised ones please (Herbie and Pkrplaya...o:D)

Obviously with Laddies still keeping some of the tournies to Laddies players only (green in the lobby and the ones with NO guarantees...:eek!:) at least we still have an old laddies feel.

A couple of things ive noticed already are that a lot of the ring games turn into crapshoots in the first hour especially the rebuys with the French being in my opinion the worse culprits.....:brains:

Also all swearing is stamped out straight away....:h?:

I got a final warning for this mild outburst...." How the f**k can you call an all in bet with 67 u f***ing frog eating smelly French **** ?"......after he hit trip sevens against my pkt Kings.....:'D

Anyway all thoughts would be good guys.......

Your issues are being looked into Tony by Mgr Rich.
My issue was the 1hour late registration, Rich is trying to get it down to 15 mins max.
I quite like it tbh problems aside, better prize money. You dont make it to 10th now and lose money.

yes i like your idea about the late registration....an hour is much too long

Question

With the late Reg : Does the player coming in late, pay BB and small blind by way of a penalty charge.. so supposing he come's in and it his BB (say50) does he pay 50 + 50bb and 25sb for his first hand :h?:.....Or does he sit straight in and only pay the blinds in the usual manner
(when it's their turn)

just sits in i believe

It’s not changed much since I used to play on it on bet365, to many re buy MTTs for me, the late registration is to long (Benny, you just sit in as normal) love the deal making facility. Rounder’s are a good way of playing some high stake STT with little outlay. Lots and lots of dead money in each tournament!!! Jury still out!

Tony2005 February 12th, 2009 17:33

Whats rounders...

Herbie...? (and dont say a girly game played with a bat and ball....o:D)

only1herbie February 12th, 2009 17:45

Rounders are STTs where you win tokens for the next level. These can be spent at any level (round) (as long as you have enough) Ladbrokes copied (very poorly) them for ladders.
There are 5 rounds if you play a round 5 game and make the money 1st gets $3000 2nd gets $1200 3rd gets $800 and 4th get $500
Round 1 is $5 entry

nice one looks good value to me.....yes i remember the ladders....not too good

End of Month thoughts on "new" Laddies

All things considered I am really enjoying the “new” Laddies poker. I have found the cash games very weak (and I am a truly awful cash game player) I must have had 20 winning sessions out of the last 21 sessions. Now they have not been huge winning sessions but in 10 days of playing cash I have climbed into the top 1000 in the rake race.

I like the fact there is so much dead money in MTTs early on and it is possible to build good chip stacks by betting with the nuts and you will be called (in fact I have not found a bet big enough to to stop people calling you with a gut shot draw or bottom pair). On the down side all the MTT do turn into crap shoots after 3 or 4 hours. I feel a big payout coming soon, I am getting my money in good the majority of times and all I need is for the odds to hold up in a big hand and then it will be come to daddy!!

STTs I am not enjoying these much mainly due to the fact that I have played 7 and not cashed in any, I think I will try rounder’s when my cash game is found out!!

I have started to get the odd disconnection, this has not affected me greatly yet, but if it continues or gets worse then it could become a problem.
