Default Great Poker Moment !!!

Sad to hear the death of Paul Newman, great actor in all his films i just thought "The Sting" and "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" were his best !!

Default Yes m8

Two great films....i quite liked The Colour of Money with Tom Cruise

He made more the 60 movies and was married to screen actress Joanne Woodward for over 50 years

He also had a multi million dollor company selling cooking oils and salad dressings....all profits from this company went to his Hole in the wall charity which runs holidays for terminally ill children. So far over $250 million has been made and they expect another $30 million a year.

A true great on and off the screen...............

And thats without Paul Newman racing - He loved motor sports.

Theres an urban legend about an old VW Beetle he had (rear mounted engine) that he did up and 'borrowed' an engine from a Porsche (again rear mounted!). He was at a set of lights when a jumped up upstart pulled up next to him, revving his engine, spoiling for a race. The lights turned green, and Newman smoked him of the line!!! No idea if its true, but would like to think so.

Apparently kept himself to himself, unlike some hollywood types. As you say - a true great - sadly missed.
