Chelsea 1-1 Burnley (aet) Burnley win 5-4 on penalties -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Championship side Burnley stunned Premier League leaders Chelsea after a dramatic penalty shoot-out at Stamford Bridge in the Carling Cup fourth round. Burnley keeper Brian Jensen was the hero after he dived full-stretch to divert John Mikel Obi's decisive penalty to safety. Didier Drogba had given Chelsea a first-half lead with a sumptuous finish from a Frank Lampard pass. But a spirited second-half from Burnley saw Ade Akinbiyi sweep in an equaliser.

We let them win........ Well done to Burnley by all accounts you deserved the victory...  And its only a tin pot cup anyway....

I agree Tony, thats why Sunderland let Blackburn beat us in this round, as it less embarassing to lose to them this round than to Burnley in the next. Burnley for the Cup
