you did well to get back into it heads up, before final table I would of bet on voodoomonkey,sometimes you get the feeling a player is carrying the luck, heads up is 90% luck and yours ran out at vital time, nice cash tho, and look on the bright side, you saved me $10, gl

I absolutely battered him heads up!! And I could (should) have easily put the hand down that did the damage to me. But it was late I and I had to be up at 5am. He was never going to commit lots of chips to any pot without a hand, so it would have been a long heads up game, so second pair was more than enough for me.

The $10 was the most important thing again!!! it’s amazing how important the prestige of winning the herbie challenge is!!

Finished 30 something last night,felt like I was in for a goodnight and fancied my chances of herbies $10 gift. When I made 3 very poor decisions,folded pocket 7s to a raise then a re-raise,and I felt both players were holding a-k,would of won big pot with a house,folded k-j suited on bb when I was thinking limp into cash then hope to get lucky,would of won hand again with house, then go all-in with j-j and lose to a-q,dont no what I was thinking about limping into cash,not interested in cashing ,I want to win it.Think because I was stuck on table with chippie and salmonoysta I altered my play and dont know why, If I can stay in tonight,will have another go but stella is calling my name[think I have a stella problem], gl

I decided to gamble early on, had a-k suited and re-raised all-in pre flop,3 callers j-q ?,9-9. j-j , didnt hit and was left short,next hand 2-2 all-in and I was back to the ironing. Get the feeling some players on laddies carry more than their fair share of luck,but maybe its just sour grapes as I cant hit a thing at minute,but watched a bit of poker today and it appeared if you were in right seat,you couldnt do any wrong. gl

Captain, how is your poker going? I am still happy to watch you play and offer you my limited comments. This is not a selfless act, as I will get some benefit from doing this. It also makes me think about my own play. I think my MTT game is suffering because I am playing a lot of shorthanded cash games at the moment. I have talked to my brother about this and he has told me that it’s very difficult to be a winning cash and MTT player at the same time. He then began to talk about poker play at a level where he could as well have been talking Chinese (which I go to lessons for), so I see this as a bit of self help. As I have no idea what his suggestions meant) (he thinks I am a much better read poker player than I am (which I can understand as I am the academic one in the family)

had a-a , played like a ****, was looking for action, small raise and other player flopped 2 pair. yup bubbling is depressing, especially when you go out with pocket rockets.

I didnt need the action at the time, which makes it worse.

after cashing last night,tonight was going to be the night herbie lost $10,unfortunately ladbrokes have issues with mtt tournaments tonight,and I cant find $4k guaranteed, so im out on the stella instead.

we were nearly there last night,thought the tide had turned , bit unlucky when i flopped 2 pair and dirty sandra got trips on the turn card to win a 75k pot,would of propelled me to chippie,still had 37k left and in with a shout but tiredness and lack of patience cost me,thought u were bombing along herbie when u hit the wall.u just get the feeling that doesnt matter what you do,some of those scandies are blessed by god. gl

This was lasts nights event. Finished at midnight, the adrenalin rush calmed down about 2am, I had to get up for work at 5am. Not playing it tonight as I intend on having an early night. Much as I would enjoy you “chip dumping” to me, the prestige of winning the challenge is enough in its self (I may make a commemorative certificate as a memento). I am looking forward to the “Herbie Challenge II” any thoughts?

how about,who can down the most stella in an hour,I hace a favourites chance in that one,I hate poker and horse racing at the moment,I hate marshmallows too but so what.
I will persevere with the 4k comp,but it interferes with my stella life and I now think if I get humped by 7pm,I can still make the pub for 7-30pm. this isnt a good attitude for poker.well done again , I feel responsible for your success,it will help me sleep tonight.
