Yes great tournament on Black Belt Poker last night .. $6000 gtd just $10 entry 607 runners ..
They run that one most Fridays i think, started at 7 30 ended around 2 30, so the important thing is having planned for that time of finish .. Nick Wealthall's video rules :loveme:

Oh another thing i could be going to Nottingham's DTD in November, Black Belt are running a live event 50k gtd to the winner if you or anyone is interested, over three days 1a (Friday) ~1b (Saturday )~ then finals day 2 on the Sunday ~

I've just looked, your in on day 1B which is the Saturday, you can change if you want to, to the Friday, but Saturday makes more sense in my opinion

If you look on the front page when you log on there, click on the left side under scheduled > Black Belt tournaments , you'll see the Nottingham Live and you can see your in on 1B, should also be some info of the event there !

Yeah does make more sense to play the Saturday as it means only 2 nights hotel ( not driving back both days) means I can have a few scoops after each night
To be fair if you can avoid or contain a bad beat it's should be reasonably easy to qualify through that type of sat I just gradually chip built for the first hour then had enough chips to boss the table only got lucky once when my A 10 beat A Q on the turn not a bad site either
P's that was my first game in over a year lol

just need to sort your logistics out now where abouts are you coming from i've spent the last 3 months travelling to chelmsford for one day a week and Crawley another day of the week with the odd trip to Reading thrown in so i should know the best way up to the midlands from anywhere south o:D

i've also joined DTD on their website so all i should need to do when i get there is show them ID and sign my membership card they also have a good offer on the Park Plaza hotel which if you go through the DTD site you can get for £75 a night B & B hotel is a couple of miles from DTD but i think they nearly all are as it's on a industrial estate.

downside the Mrs wants to come with me i said fine as long as she goes out with her mum and dad on the saturday afternoon / evening so she don't cost me any money 8-P

Definitely coming to Nottingham for the weekend,looking forward to it. More than likely play in the comp,definitely be visiting the bar. Think a few non-poker but heavy drinking pals coming too,so I have to wait to sort out accomodation. I had a nightmare finding DTD club a few years back,my sat nav kept taking me to a retail park about 3 miles away from the club,after several[hundred] circuits of town centre , I paid a taxi driver a tenner to go there and I followed him. Will be staying at the hilton,milton street, £59 twin room. stayed here before,wheres Herbie staying ? roll on november 19th.

25/1 fav and 400 runners,Mr Cody must have special glasses.Do we have a plan for saturday,I believe comp starts at twelve,was thinking up at 7am, quick dip in the pool, a visit to the sauna,followed by a 5 mile run along the quayside,brekkie at 9am while studying the form of the gee gees,10am visit the bookies,11am post our saturday tipster picks,11-30am DTD for a sneaky stella,12pm let battle commence. 10pm few more stellas,12am bed,10am brekkie,11am look for robin hood in the town centre bars,1-30pm DTD for final day,10pm final table,2am andy,lee and barry do a deal,andy gets the trophy as he has all the chips by 3am. goodluck guys , see what you could be missing Herbie its never too late.
