Cup football this week

Start of the Carling Cup this week so hopefull all our teams can get through to the next round..

Now do we think this is a good competition for the Championship teams or just a waste of time?

Obviously the top premier teams dont come in for a while which in my opinion isnt a very fair thing as a lot of the smaller clubs miss out on a chance of a good payday early in the season.....

Also i think we will see more championship teams fielding some reserve players against smaller clubs as injuries can be very costly at this time of the season.....

Chelsea need something to aim for 8-P

Ha ha....we could do with the money from a good Carling cup run....but strangly if we get a home game against a smaller club (well thats everyone except the Mancs) they are usually sold out as the away team brings around 6-8000 and Chelsea fans that dont get the chance to watch prem or champions league games can get a ticket...
