Week 1 Regular Season
The season proper kicks off Thursday night, when the Washington Redskins travel to the New York Giants for the first game of the NFL regular season.
Most of the games then take place on Sunday night, with one Monday night game held over. There are also two games on Tuesday for Week 1

On the face of it there is no massive value to be had - if you compare these prices to Premiership then there is usually much more variance in the NFL Games - with games just being a Win/Loss it is also much more black and white.
Looking down these games you would think you could run up an accumulator of 7/8 odds on wins without much fuss....well, its not that easy. Especially in the early weeks, these games are fraught with peril and we wont get a clear picture of whos who and whats what until weeks 4 or 5.
The Saints, due to Hurricane Gustav, will be playing in Indianapolis for at least this week - this is the only reason i would leave them alone against the Bucs. A game to keep an eye on is the Vikings at the Packers - leave it alone from a betting perspective, but this game will give us a hige clue if the Vikings are for real and if they should win their division.
I will be placing a low ish stake on the following - a little vested interest but nothing massive until we get this dangerous week 1 out of the way and save up for the real value as the weeks progress.
