If you look into deep space via the observations that the Hubble Space Telescope have provided, you find the best evidence to date that super-massive black holes exist.
However if you search 'google to find who was the founder of the Internet you're likely to find the name of 'Bill Gates' ...
Now I believe the true founder was 'Nikola Tesla', who was in my mind a true genius, so much so that ................... oh but that's another story!
Back to the future so to speak, and what of 'Black Holes' that befall the poker players on the Internet online poker sites .?
More to the point what has 'SkyPoker' got to do with the game of Poker ! ...... Short answer now..Nothing!
SkyPoker appears now to have abandoned it's original 'blueprint' that had a good concept to what the players wanted....
: IE, an old-fashioned game of poker that all other sites still retain !
It is now looking for fast turnover with some games having only 500 starting chips, abandoning virtually all 10 seat-er games, and now including re-buy roulette ??
On the Sit' n'Go, if you want to play a low stake 'Double your Money' game, say £1 then there's a rake charge of 15p?
Other sites charge 10p!
So why and what is happening there ?
The 'Why' is not so easy to understand, however it's becoming obvious that whoever is running the Poker site, have started to panic for turnover figures ! (trying to show the bosses a profit on turnover = greed)
'What' is happening there? Well, the forum for the site speaks for itself, discontent about what I've said above, along with if you appear to protest about what is happening on that forum two things either happen, the thread gets deleted or the person instigating the thread gets banned. Go back 6 months and the community there was thriving, today it's becoming a ghost site..
Ultimately the conclusion will be that SkyPoker has already started to show the signs of imploding upon it's self, with guaranteed tournaments becoming halved or non-existent , then deleted... Live Television schedules already halved and now showing old shows from it's archives ...
Yes as with all dying stars, it's started sucking in the last dust particles of cash it can get it's greedy hands on as fast as it can.
Can it be saved as a poker site ?
One thing could possibly reverse whats happening, and that is go the way of a down-loadable site and give the players what they want !! ( a decent lobby of varied games)
However that wont happen, it's one of the major complaints since day One after the launch and it still runs off the server , so multi- accounting is far easier to get trapped by ......
What else .. ?.... Get rid of the people who run the current programme of greed that is turning SkyPoker into a 'Black Hole' !!
