To be honest Tony, I didn't look at your situation to much last night as you were obviously steaming after the guy rivered his flush , BUT I like being in that situation after the flop ..
OK you knew you were in the hand with the 'chippie' 18k vs 80k, but once that flop has come down you've done nothing wrong !!
You think your ahead (and you are) you've shoved all-in and I would have done the same because you cant slow play against the big stack here, if he had flopped a 'set' OH unlucky but also if he's gambled with implied odds then that's OK as well ...
Thing is with poker, it always hurts when a player gets lucky on the river but when a player has 'the power' of a big stack they also have the added advantage to play a bigger range from position ..
Some either call or push and bully, '3bet' re-raise, 'check-raise', 'float' the flop or turn or even the river ... All this jargon is a part of the modern game.
To me in your position , I'd have done the same and so too probably would have Doyle Brunson and Stu Ungar .

As Doyle Brunson said,
" The key to 'No Limit' poker is to put a player to a decision for ALL his chips"

You did nothing wrong, in fact as Dell Boy would say,
"One day Rodney" !!!
