Gunners survive early scare to power past Milan

Arsenal came from a goal down to beat AC Milan 3-1 at the Emirates and move into the quarter-finals of the Europa League thanks to a 5-1 aggregate victory.
Hakan Calhanoglu set pulses racing at the Emirates when he fired in a beautiful swerving goal from distance on 35 minutes to get Milan, who trailed 2-0 from the first leg, back in the tie.
However, the tie turned just four minutes later when Danny Welbeck went over in the box and was given a penalty despite replays showing there was minimal contact.
Welbeck ruthlessly converted the penalty for the first of his brace, which he completed four minutes from time after Granit Xhaka's hopeful effort squirmed away from teenager Gianluigi Donnarumma.
