This sort of betting has been going on for years, it's up to the individual sporting events to police their own sport.
Horse racing has gone a long way to keep their house in order, and so to athletics. However some sports are wide open to bribery, and it's up to their own ruling bodies to keep the sport clean. There's a story of a Belgium tennis player (allegedly) being offered 70k to throw a match at Wimbledon
And Cricket, well .....Football......drugs... You see it's ok if were in on the "sting" isn't it ? Your never going to change things while money and betting on a sport is involved. It's up to us the punter's to keep our eyes and ears open !!! Let the powers that rule sport get on with it, if i smell a fish..it's a Bloater....if i see a gift horse...i don't kick it the mouth..
The bookies will take your money when they know you cant win, so if i know i cant lose............fck em
