This might interest a few of us here, as we all seem to play on Laddies now...

Ladbrokes Poker Cruise Team Doubles
The cruise should be a chance to kick up your feet, relax and dabble with a bit of poker and who best to do this with then one of your chums. Ladbrokes Poker has come up with a team game designed for you and your buddies to come and join in the fun in the sun.

What to do?
Find a poker playing mate to create your team of two
Submit your team name, alias and your friends alias to [email protected] *
Play in our weekly tourneys on Thursday at 7:30pm UK Time, do well and earn points and get entered into our leaderboard (below)
* Emailed registrations must be received by 23:59 UK Time Tuesday 14th September 2010 for inclusion in the first qualifying tournament. Late registrations can be made up to 23:59 UK Time Tuesday 21st September for inclusion in week 2 onwards. Registrations received in the late registration period will not be included in week one's tournament.

When is it?
First event: Thursday 16th September at 7:30pm
How often: Weekly for 10 weeks and the last one is 18h November
Buy in: £10 + £10 (£10 to prize pool of the day, £10 towards the cruise invitational at the end)
Starting Chips: 2500
Blinds: 12 mins
Players per table: 8 players
Where in Poker Lobby: Tournaments/Offline Events/Poker Cruise/Cruise Doubles (coming soon)
NOTE: You will only be able to register if you have submitted your team by the above date.
Prizes
The top two teams from the leaderboard will take home the following packages please note the packages are based on the team members sharing a cabin and there will be no room for guests.
Winning Team

£5000 Cruise place (includes accommodation, all meals, 2 x buy-ins to the £500 event and the remaining £1450 for travel expenses)
2nd Team

£4500 Cruise place (includes accommodation, all meals, 2 x buy-ins to the £500 event and £950 travel expenses)
For all other teams there is entry to the Invitational Last Chance Saloon Tournament

This will take place on Thursday 25th November. The +£10 fee all goes into a pot and for every £4k fees generated there will be a cruise package up for grabs or if under the £4k required the cash will be paid as per standard. In order to qualify for the invite only section players must have played in 80% of the cruise doubles tourneys.

Last Chance Saloon Billy Bonus

Top placed qualifying players will be rewarded extra starting chips in the Last Chance Saloon Tournament.

Team members that finish 1st and 2nd overall are not eligible for the invitational tourney

Terms and Conditions:
The Promoter of this promotion is Ladbrokes International Limited, 57-63 Line Wall Road, Gibraltar.
NO TABLE TALK! All team strategy such as when to raise, check, fold etc. shall be set before game begins. Anyone caught doing this during a game will accept a 5 point deduction from their teams' total score. Any player that continues this on a regular basis will cause their team to be disqualified with loss of all entry fees. The only acceptable table talk during any game should be all in fun, joking around, or psyching out the other team. Whatever it may be, please keep it clean and fun. For more information on table talk please look below.
** Table Talk: The revealing of cards during the hand being played is not allowed. Advice on betting, raising or folding during the hand is strictly prohibited. Talk after the hand is played (advice on betting tactics - example: "you should have raised so I could have given you more") is also not allowed. This rule will be strictly enforced and points deductions applied retrospectively if reports of rule breaches are received from participating players after thorough investigations are concluded.
Participating players will be placed on the invite list to each qualifying tournament. It is the participating player’s responsibility to join qualifying tournaments. No players will be pre registered by Ladbrokes Poker to qualifying tournaments.
Team registrations received after the cut off date will not be eligible for inclusion in this promotion.
Team members are not allowed to play from the same household, teams found doing this will be withdrawn from the promotion.
Leaderboard positions will be updated by 16:00 hrs each Friday after the last qualifying tournament.
Should a team be tied on points after the 10 tournaments positions will be decided on the highest scoring individual, if the teams are still tied then the highest place finisher from the 10th tournament will be the decider.
Cruise places won by a team must be used by the two players registered to that team. The cruise place is based on team members sharing a cabin and guests are not included as part of this place.
An extra guest can be added to the Cruise Place won at a cost of £700. This is for an extra person in the existing cabin and does not include any buy ins to the Poker events - These would be additional to the £700
If winners have an existing Cruise Place they may sell any second place won subject to both team members agreeing to the sale (The buyer must have a Ladbrokes Poker account)
Team members that finish 1st and 2nd overall are not eligible for the invitational tourney
Ladbrokes accepts no responsibility whatsoever for system or connection problems that might affect any player during any of these tournaments, such as a fold / timeout, or disconnects as per the general rules of the Ladbrokes Poker service. If the tournament is disrupted by system or network issues, Ladbrokes reserves the right to resolve the issue as it sees fit.
Ladbrokes Poker reserve the right to use customer’s nickname and/or first name and last initial for use in reasonable amount of marketing and/or future promotions.
The promoter reserves the right to modify, alter, discontinue or terminate this promotion at any time for any reason whatsoever without notice to players, using reasonable efforts to provide such notice in advance. Ladbrokes reserves the right to amend the Leaderboard payouts at any time.

Im on the fence with these promotions,las vegas team games were kind of enjoyable,players did take the pishh tho,timing out every hand to try and move up the points,like the idea of 3 or 4 players,more than 2, and it does seem that laddies not as generous with this promotion as $10 per game is going into pot to pay for cruise package
prizes,or is this seperate prize pool,not quite sure. Have heard in past the cruise was fantastic experience and a great laff,and probably worth having a go at winning a package. gl
