Default Noble you're having a laugh !

Noble appeals to angry fans ..

West Ham midfielder Mark Noble has appealed to angry supporters to get behind the team. .

Hammers fans booed their side off the pitch at Upton Park on Wednesday night despite witnessing a vital 2-1 win over 10-man Hull that lifted them further away from the relegation places.

Manager Sam Allardyce cupped his ear towards the jeers as he left the pitch and admitted afterwards he "couldn't believe" they were taunting him and his players.

Noble believes their display was hardly a lesson in total football but warned supporters that anxiety in the stands can resonate onto the pitch and affect their performances.

"I appreciate that we did not play our best football and that it wasn't pretty at times. More than anyone, I'm keen to get the ball down and play but sometimes it just doesn't happen for you," he said.

"On behalf of all of the players, I can say that your support really can make a difference. But I must admit the anxiety from the stands can spill onto the pitch and get into our minds, as much as we try to ignore it.

"When that happens, some players can be affected and they make mistakes that they would not normally make - and that happened last night.

"For that reason, I would ask that you give your backing to the boys because I can tell you that we are giving 100 per cent for the club. We will always perform better when we are feeling relaxed and comfortable - as you would in any job."

West Ham's win lifted them to 11th in the Premier League, nine points clear of the drop zone, and just four points short of Allardyce's 38-point target to survive.
update btd

Bennys view .. All I hope is that whatever happens this season, for the start of next season, Sam Allardyce will be gone ..
He's lost his last three games before last night, then, at home against Hull he gets a wrongly given penalty that also gets their keeper sent off .
Then Hull get an equaliser and West Ham looked to be falling apart , when they get a lucky own goal in the last few minutes to get a win that was never deserved ..
West Ham are one paced stoppers, who under Allardyce has only one way to attack ...Hump it up to Carroll (and he's no good now) and hope ..

There have been a lot of West Ham fans on the radio voicing there opinions of how things are going at the moment..

Yes West Ham were always known for being a decent footballing team to watch but over the last few years that has disappeared from their style of play.

This in my opinion all stems from the ownership of the club and the way its been run.

They need to get rid of Gold / Sullivan and that Karen Brady all in my opinion do not have the clubs best interests at heart and only whats going into their pockets.

Hopefully a true football fan or a big wealthy arab will buy the club and get it back to the way it used to be when they were playing the football not only their fans but other football followers used to enjoy....

Sam Allardyce is Sam Allardyce, you know what you'll get with him as manager.

Might not be pretty but he does get results by hook or by crook.

It's not that Tired .. It's all that boll'ocks of cupping his ear to the crowd at the end, when the boos were coming .. Still if anyone thinks that was bad, wait till the next home game ...

F'ck, no matter what the score during the game, the crowd will let him know he's not wanted, should be interesting ..
And as for the away game tomorrow with your lot (Sunderland) .. Those away fans will let him know as well ....
