SUNDAY MIRROR
•Manchester City will this week step up their chase for Wilfried Bony, with the reigning champions willing to pay £25million for the Swansea striker.
•Steven Gerrard's next destination is set to be Major League Soccer side Los Angeles Galaxy when the midfielder leaves Liverpool at the end of the season.
•Juventus have set their sights on Manchester United loanee Radamel Falcao in the belief the Colombian will not be staying at Old Trafford beyond this season.
•Manchester City striker Stevan Jovetic is out to quieten his critics and prove his is not a £22million flop - starting in Sunday's FA Cup third-round tie with Sheffield Wednesday.
•Phil Jones has backed Manchester United to end their 11-year wait to lift the FA Cup.
•David Moyes wants to take Chelsea misfit Mohamed Salah on loan to Real Sociedad.

•Raheem Sterling's contract talks at Liverpool have stalled over a £65million buy-out clause the Merseyside club want to include. The 20-year-old, and his representatives, believe the figure should be in the region of £40million.
•Manchester City are plotting a January swoop for Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke in a bid to resolve their attacking injury crisis.

•Manchester City are interested in signing Everton midfielder Ross Barkley, with the Toffees ready to sell for £45million to fund an overhaul of Roberto Martinez's squad.
•Liverpool set to give their fans a huge boost in the wake of Steven Gerrard's departure by announcing Raheem Sterling has signed a new contract at the club. The Reds are close to reaching an agreement with 20-year-old after offering him a £100,000-a-week five-year deal.
•And Gerrard is on the verge of agreeing a £3.9million deal to join the MLS franchise on an 18-month contract.

•Chelsea are close to agreeing a deal to sign 23-year-old Andrej Kramaric from HNK Rijeka after persuading the Croatian to accept a loan move to Eredivisie side Vitesse Arnhem. The deal is believed to be in the region of £4million.
•Convicted rapist Ched Evans is set to sign a contract with a League One club next week. ..( Really ?? )
