Impressive Blues 11/2 for title (October 30 2016)

Chelsea were cut to 11/2 for the Premier League title after moving into the top four with a 2-0 win over Southampton on Sunday.

Aantonio Conte's men kept the ball rolling after impressive wins over Hull, Leicester and Manchester United with a dominant display on the south coast and the layers were suitably taken by the performance.

Eden Hazard and Diego Costa showed shades of the form they were in during Chelsea's title-winning campaign two years ago, each helping themselves to a goal, and bookmakers moved the London side from 13/2 to 11/2 to regain the Premier League crown.

They also trimmed Chelsea to 1/3 for a top-four finish, while Everton were also positive movers in the top-four betting on Sunday following their 2-0 home win over West Ham.

Romelu Lukaku and Ross Barkley were on target for the Toffees, who ended the weekend in sixth, two points behind fifth-placed Spurs and just five points off the pace being set by Man City, Arsenal and Liverpool.

Premier League Results

City sit top of the pile on goal difference after recapturing the winning thread with a 4-0 hammering of West Brom on Saturday and Pep Guardiola's outfit are 5/4 in the outright market.

Liverpool remain second-favourites at 3/1, while Arsenal are next in the list at 5/1.

Sergio Aguero got back in the groove with two goals at the Hawthorns and he's 13/8 favourite to end the season as the top-flight's leading goalscorer but Costa's long-range strike against Saints moved him above the Argetinian in the standings (8-7) and he was cut to 7/2 for the golden boot as a result.
