Manchester United's horror week continued as they were beaten 3-1 by West Ham at the Olympic Stadium.

Felipe Anderson opened the scoring for the hosts after just five minutes with a delightful flick to beat David De Gea and their lead was doubled before the break after Andriyt Yarmolenko's shot deflected in off Victor Lindelof.

Substitute Marcus Rashford, returning from suspension, pulled one back before star man Marco Arnautovic, returning from injury, made it three with just over 15 minutes remaining.

The result sums up a dreadful week for Jose Mourinho, after stripping Paul Pogba of his vice-captaincy and facing rumours of unrest in his squad which came after the Carabao Cup defeat to Derby County.

West Ham's first home league victory since the final day of last season lifts them to 12th in the table. Manchester United drop to eighth - eight points off leaders Liverpool having played a game more - after equalling their worst start to a Premier League season.
