Default League XIV.

Cartwright Gets It Right in Leg 5
Black Belt Poker League ~ Leg 5 saw 82 take to the felt, all of whom were eying up those crucial points as we dipped out toes into the second half of League XIV.

11th adygolf -- $10.25
12th shaolin4aces -- $10.25

There were no earth-shattering changes in the League standings, mainly due to the top three finishing in 17th-19th positions. Gnomeeee crept up to 5th, whilst PhilDee64 slipped into fourth.

Default Black Belt Poker League~ 19th April

Cox Rocks Legs 6
19 April 2012
by snoopy
Matthew 'The8ofSpades' Cox snatches Leg 6 as 'liquidpoker101' takes over the lead in the overal standings.
The Eight of Spades Leg 6 is where the men are sorted from the boys (and women from girls), so it was of no great surprise that 83 rolled up last Tuesday for the Black Belt Poker League in search of some much-needed momentum as the home straight nears.

Within the field lay several former Champions, all eager to dispel any flash-in-the-pan accusations; their fortunes were mixed: whilst russellhansen floundered in 67th, RedKiteBlackBelt and TeeDeeEye1 enjoyed aboved-average performances in 35th and 26th respectively, whilst the ever-consistent myteamouse and JHobbit1 both made the money.

Soaking up the most spondoolies was Matthew The8Spades Cox, who saw $114.17 hit his cyber account after disposing of RiverSiren heads-up. Just one spot behind, however, was last week's winner Mark DConTour1 Cartwright, who cushioned his wallet with a further $58.10.

1st The8ofSpades -- $114.17
2nd RiverSiren -- $76.77
3rd DConTour1 -- $58.10
4th Speighty84 -- $39.42
5th griffyid7777 -- $29.05
6th 4KSuited -- $21.78
7th liquidpoker101 -- $17.63
8th JHobbit1 -- $14.52
9th mikeymixitup -- $12.45
10th ourkidsid -- $10.37
11th JosseWales -- $10.37
12th myteamouse -- $10.37

Sean 10Royals Lassman's 47th place finish means he's slipped on a temporary banana skin and allowed liquidpoker101 to take over throne-sitting duties; he drops into second with sandy1611 creeping up behind in third.

1st liquidpoker101 -- 447 points
2nd 10Royals -- 436 points
3rd sandy1611 -- 403 points
4th ChipRead77 -- 400 points
5th ourkidsid -- 396 points
6th gnomeeee -- 394 points
7th BoatDrink -- 384 points
8th PhilDee64 -- 375 points
9th russellhansen -- 375 points
10th JosseWales -- 369 points
11th myteamouse -- 367 points
12th Stewboi -- 367 points
13th sprinterz -- 358 points
14th S0lution -- 358 points
15th BoraBoraBoy -- 347 points
16th 7onyB -- 345 points
17th livinghope2 -- 343 points
18th shaolin4aces -- 341 points
19th doochats -- 341 points
20th bagpussrocks -- 336 points

Default Leg 7

Sievwright Is the Mane Man in Leg 7
27 April 2012
Malcolm 'lionrampant27' Sievwright runs rampant in Leg 7 as 'liquidpoker101' holds onto top spot.

Hear Me Roar! Seven heaven arrived on our doorstep last Tuesday as the penultimate leg of the latest Black Belt Poker League brought us yet another night of poker fun and frolics.

On this occasion, it was a loyal Orange Belt who reigned supreme, as Black Belt Poker stalwart Malcom lionrampant27 Sievwright tangoed his way to victory with a roaring performance to snap up the lion's share of the $395 prize pool.

Okay. No more puns.

79 dipped into their pockets for a five-dollar bill, including several cashers from the recent East End Live: Mark Cursonator Curson, Carey CareybearBBP Hollick and finalist Jon RykanShadow White to name but three. And reigning Champion Adam JHobbit1 Saunders - who was a lucky recipient of one of Channing's Orange Ticket spot prizes - was once again prominent, supplementing his eighth place finish last week with yet another final table appearance this time around.

1st lionrampant27 -- $118.52
2nd donquann -- $79.00
3rd myteamouse -- $59.25
4th BoatDrink -- $39.50
5th JHobbit1 -- $29.62
6th diiscostu -- $21.72
7th losbert40 -- $17.77
8th bas2604 -- $15.80
9th cheekyweeguy -- $13.82

The result didn't shake up the top spots with the leading trio all finishing in the top 25. Although David liquidpoker101 Manders has all but sealed his Samurai seat, second place is still vulnerable with BoatDrink joining sandy1611 on 472 points, and the likes of ourkidsid and former Champion myteamouse just a few points behind.

1st liquidpoker101 -- 514 points
2nd 10Royals -- 493 points
3rd sandy1611 -- 472 points
4th BoatDrink -- 472 points
5th ourkidsid -- 461 points
6th myteamouse -- 459 points
7th ChipRead77 -- 443 points
8th PhilDee64 -- 435 points
9th Stewboi -- 423 points
10th sprinterz -- 411 points
11th 7onyB -- 411 points
12th gnomeeee -- 409 points
13th russellhansen -- 402 points
14th TeeDeeEye1 -- 398 points
15th JHobbit1 -- 393 points
16th JosseWales -- 392 points
17th thehingster -- 392 points
18th S0lution -- 392 points
19th Touagorimou -- 391 points
20th bagpussrocks -- 385 points

One leg (8) to go this coming Tuesday then it will be the start of the new league ..

If you still haven't joined , use sign up code ' jossewales ' to get started and look for the league and the freerolls every Wednesday for 'orange belt' value !!
