BRAZIL 4 V CAMEROON 1

Well what did we learn from that ?

For me it was that as soon as Brazil come up against a side that can shut them down quickly and have a bit of attacking flair the Brazilians will falter.

They wont make the final even though the draw is in their favor. They are poor at the back and will get exploited like they did when the French best them in the final 8 years ago.

Alves and Marcello are way too attacking and Luiz makes poor decisions and that will be their downfall

Tonight they beat a poor Cameroon team and to be honest struggled to do that.

Tonights returns.

FIRST GOAL..WILLIAN @ 11/1............3 points (void)....3 points

FIRST HALF GOALS OVER 2.5 @ 4/1...4 points..........20 points

New balance.....199

ENGLAND V COSTA RICA 5pm

A meaningless match for England and roy makes 9 changes....

Costa Rica look to have already qualified from the group so im sure they will rest one or two players.

England need a win to salvage some pride and i think they can get it here.

Tonights Bets.

ENGLAND TO WIN BOTH HALVES @ 5/1........5 points

ENGLAND TO WIN & OVER 2.5 GOALS @ 2/1......5 points

LLANNA TO SCORE FIRST @ 10/1.........3 points

ENGLAND TO WIN 3-1 @ 14/1..........4 points

DRAW 2-2 @ 14/1..........3 points

Total points wagered.......20

Costa Rica @ 3/1 is massive imo, that's what I'm on.

Also Stan James have a free £5 bet if you wager £5 on the under/overs trebles and upwards on Tuesdays games, I'm doing it anyway so it's a free punt at an under/over treble, I've gone for ...

Code:
Costa Rica v England Total Goals (U/O 2.5), Over 2.5, 1.73
Japan v Colombia Total Goals (U/O 2.5), Over 2.5, 1.80
Italy v Uruguay Total Goals (U/O 2.5), Over 2.5, 1.95
Greece v Ivory Coast Total Goals (U/O 2.5), Under 2.5, 1.73

I think we will see a similar game tonight as what we saw with Spain against the Aussies.

The second team wanted to make a point.....

ENGLAND 0 COSTA RICA 0

Now cast your mind back 11 days......

Costa Rica were the "whipping boys" of this group.

Tonight Costa Rica are through as group winners and we are coming home after a toothless farewell .....

Nine changes but for me our tamest performance of the three...NO striker and no real attempts on their goal.

The old man Lampard was by far our best player...

Here are my ratings....

FOSTER......6..... NOTHING TO DO

JONES.......5.......Not good enough for premier league let alone world cup

CAHILL......6.......Under no threat from a poor Costa Rica

SMALLING....6....Could be one for the future

SHAW.........5.....£35 million really?

WILTSHIRE....5....Poor and maybe not that fit

LAMPARD......7.....STAR MAN

BARCLAY......6.....Needs more time. Looked a bit out of place

LLUANA.......4.....Doubt we will see him again

MILNER.......5.....Trier but uneffective.

STURRIDGE...5...To many tricks we have all seen before. Never threatened.

STIRLING.....4....One good game the rest of the time POOR

GERRARD.....4....One last game

ROONEY.......4....Why bother.

This squad is not good enough and if Hodgson continues to not play a real striker then we carry on qualifying against part timers and then coming home earlier then a package holiday.

TONIGHTS BETS

All lost.

New balance...179

Next match....Tomorrow......ECUADOR V FRANCE....9pm

It just goes to show that Hodgson has NO tactical 'nouse' .

Yes he's a nice guy, the same as Moyes but useless

Surely now there's only one manager who is capable of getting the best squad together, and the best motivator

And that is Hose Mourinho
