THE GUARDIAN •Petr Cech will hold talks with Chelsea next week, with the goalkeeper eager to sort out where he will be playing next season. The 33-year-old has a year left on his contract at Stamford Bridge but was demoted to the role of back-up to Thibaut Courtois last season. •Slaven Bilic is confident he will be confirmed as West Ham United's manager within the next 48 hours, although the success of his application may hinge on the club's current first choice, Marcelo Bielsa, signing a contract extension with Marseille. •Roy Hodgson's dissatisfaction with England's performance against the Rep of Ireland has led to him "reminding people of their responsibilities" and to make it clear to Wayne Rooney that he expects more from his captain. THE TIMES •Arsenal are tracking Sevilla and Poland midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak, 25, who has a £21m buyout clause in his contract. •West Brom boss Tony Pulis is interested in signing goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey, 28, from former club Crystal Palace. •Former Liverpool captain Sami Hyypia wants to be considered for a position in Brendan Rodgers' backroom staff. THE INDEPENDENT •Spurs have made 19-year-old Monaco forward Anthony Martial their first major transfer target of the summer. •Liverpool may have to pay more than £6m for Burnley striker Danny Ings because of a £12m counter bid made by Tottenham which the Clarets have formally accepted. •Zlatan Ibrahimovic could leave Paris Saint-Germain for £11m with Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool showing interest in the 33-year-old Sweden international. •Italy midfielder Andre Pirlo, 36, has brushed aside speculation he will leave Juventus this summer after being linked with a move to the MLS.
