Super Bowl - (Feb 5th) - Final
Super Bowl LI: Falcons v Patriots - - (January 30th 2017)
The New England Patriots are favourites to beat the Atlanta Falcons at Super Bowl LI in Houston. Here's all you need to know including the TV and kick-off times, the latest odds, and, of course, details of the half-time show! (Atlanta Falcons 11/8 v New England Patriots 8/13 - Sunday 5th, 23:30) It has taken from September 8 last year to whittle the season down to two teams but the stage is now set for one of the great sporting events on the calendar - Super Bowl LI (or 51 if you prefer) at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas. New England head coach Bill Belichick and his quarterback Tom Brady will make history as this will be the seventh time they have contested the Vince Lombardi trophy and that sort of experience ensures they will be the team to beat on the night. But they take on an Atlanta outfit with an offense that has lit up the scoreboard all season while an improving young defense will try and give Brady - arguably the greatest player of all time - as uncomfortable an evening as possible. So settle back and enjoy all the glitz, glamour plus a half-time show from Lady Gaga (I thought i read that as 'glamour puss' ) - as two red-hot teams battle it out for the game's biggest prize. Here, we have everything you need to know including the TV and kick-off times, both side's routes to get to Super Bowl LI, the latest Sky Bet odds, our expert predictions, a selection of team and player statistics, plus more details of the half-time show! Will it be a case of seventh heaven for Tom Brady and Bill Belichick as the duo make yet another appearance in the Super Bowl? The duo already have four rings and Sky Bet seem to think that will be the case as they are 8/13 favourites for glory against Atlanta. The Falcons can be backed at 11/8 and the underdogs are 10/11 getting a three point start on the handicap. Quarterback Brady is a hot favourite at 5/6 to scoop the Super Bowl MVP award with his opposite number Matt Ryan a 15/8 chance - although it's worth noting that two of the last three winners of this prize actually came from the defensive side of the ball in linebackers Malcolm Smith (Seattle) and Von Miller (Denver). Therefore Atlanta linebacker Vic Beasley, who led the league in sacks with 15.5, could be an interesting outsider in this market at 33/1. Meanwhile, a high-scoring game is also expected in Houston with the line set at 58 points - it is 10/11 over or under this total. New England running back LeGarette Blount heads the betting at 7/1 to score the opening touchdown ahead of Devonta Freeman and Julio Jones on 15/2. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Those of you who like a punt alongside of the game can roll the dice on what half-time entertainer Lady Gaga performs - She is 5/6 to kick off warbling Bad Romance with Million Reasons and Born This way both 6/1 chances. She is 4/11 to come out with blonde/yellow hair and over 1.5 costume changes is 8/13 - the catchy tune Telephone does not even seem to be in the betting , so I suggest switching over and watching something else for 20 minutes. -
