Calzaghe v Hopkins
The big fight on 3am Sunday morning is live on Santanta sports.
Calzaghe the longest reigning champion around but some say he hasnt fought in this class against the 43 year old Hopkins whos fought the very best for 15 years. Now dont be put off by Hopkins age this man has the fitness of a 30 year old. Should be a bit of a chess match and not a slugfist but i think this maybe a bridge too far for Calzaghe and i see Hopkins winning by late stopage... What do u guys think ? |

sorry Tony gotta go against you there mate calzaghe will be too much for hopkins imo hopkins is a good fighter but calzaghe in my eyes is at the top of his game i've had small bets on rounds 7,8 and 9 at 22-1 good value if you ask me
it will be a blinder of a fight though and well looking forward to it i do like my boxing been to a few world title fights lewis v's holyfield at madison (the draw) lol was one of the best nights of boxing i have ever seen in fact the womens bout was the best fight of the night lol |

Firstly
I will tell u whats barbaric Playa.........those bookies that keep taking my bets....
Yes Lee i think it will be a good fight but i think Hopkins might just intimadate Joe and his experience might just prove too much for Joe away from home. Lewis won that fight by a mile........i saw Lewis v Mcall at Wembley when Lewis got ko in the second.... I am quite good friends with Nigel Benn as my mates uncle Brian Lynch used to train him upto the Watson fight. I only missed 7 of his pro fights and i saw a sparring session between him and Roberto Duran in a gym above the central pub opposite the West Ham Ground where Nigel trained.....only 20 people watched it and i have it on tape.....those were the days m8 |

Yes Lee........
It was a war and Duran is one hard bloke.......Lewis never excited me really...he always seemed a little gun shy especially after the Mcall fight and again he got caught by Rahman but as a boxer he was top top class.
The only time i saw him really unload was against Ruddock. Benn was a true warrior and u always got your moneys worth watching him. I saw the Benn v Eubank fight at the NEC ...great fight that even though he lost....and i saw another of his fights at the NIA in Birmingham against Sugar Boy Malinga when it all kicked off in the crowd between the ZULUS and the Man City Goveners ( that was a little more exciting)......... |

Yes Lee the seats and everything were flying around....i think the fight was Robert Mcracken v Steve Foster....
I have seen a few dust ups outside the ring...... Have you ever been to the York Hall in Bethnel Green? Now thats the best place to watch boxing anywhere... The weigh in for the Calzaghe fight is on the fight network 427 (i think) at 10.30 |
