THE SUN Manchester City want Aymeric Laporte and are considering meeting the Athletic Bilbao star's £60m release clause. Southampton would consider former Watford boss Marco Silva as a replacement should they decide to remove Mauricio Pellegrino, whose side has won just one of 15 league games. Lassana Diarra is on the brink of a shock move to Paris Saint-Germain. Leeds and Millwall want Aston Villa centre-back Tommy Elphick to boost their defensive options. Jason Lowe is in talks with Birmingham to end his contract and return to Blackburn. DAILY MIRROR Chelsea have agreed a £50m double transfer deal for Edin Dzeko and Emerson Palmieri of Roma.
