Chelsea and Arsenal are doing battle over Leon Bailey while West Ham could splash more cash this summer, all in today's back pages. THE SUN Chelsea are ready to step up their chase for Bayer Leverkusen's £40m-rated winger Leon Bailey, but face competition from Arsenal and Roma. Manchester City starlet Kean Bryan is set to sign a three-year deal with Rangers after Steven Gerrard persuaded him to move north of the border. Derby are set to sell Matej Vydra to Leeds for £11m so as they can free up funds to sign Ipswich forward Martyn Waghorn. Brighton are closing in on a deal for Ecuadorian wonderkid Billy Arce, who is set to sign a four-year deal at the Amex Stadium. Middlesbrough have moved for 'keeper Boaz Myhill, whose contract at West Brom expired in the summer. Stoke boss Gary Rowett says top clubs face a race against time if they want to sign Jack Butland. THE TIMES Chelsea officials have travelled to Italy to meet their Juventus counterparts and try to seal a deal for £40m-rated defender Daniele Rugani. Rafa Benitez is likely to remain at Newcastle until the end of the season, despite the expiry of a £6m release clause in his contract this summer.
