Sunday The Reading Masters !
Well tomorrow is the heats for the Reading Masters, and looking at the runners it would be a brave man to predict the winner at this stage with the favourite "Fear Haribo" looking plenty short enough at 5/1 for the final.
From a sentimental point, I'd love to see my ol mate "Bower Turbo"(25/1) win this for old times sake. He's in the 2nd race drawn T3 and i couldn't in all honesty advise a bet, however i will be cheering him on for all the connections and my mate Paul R who bred him.  He is however coming back after a two month break after splitting a web, and although he has done a recent trial time of 28 30 he'll have to improve a great deal over the next two weeks as the winning time for the final should be sub 28 sec. So it's a question of lets wait and see how the heats go, as this Reading track with it's tight first bend has a way of throwing up a few surprises. Sunday Night Heats
"The Reading Masters" got underway tonight, with some of the fav's going through, notably .....
Fear Haribo ..4/6f.(28.13). Blonde Dino .(27.93).. Cleenas Lady..4/5f .(28.20). BowerTurbo.(28.28). 1/1f.. all winning their heats with other well fancied runners qualifying with their placing.. The time of Blonde Dino is made more impressive as he was crowded at the 1st and came through at the 3rd bend to lead ..So going into the next round, you'd have to think the overall winner is between Blonde Dino...and ...Fear Haribo..although as i said i'd love to see "Bower Turbo" get there but "head over heart", he's not improving enough for this big test at this stage.
