Dubai Holdings wins Channel 4 racing sponsorship bid
Travelodge owner Dubai Holdings has won the rights to sponsor Channel 4 racing over the next two years. Andrew Thompson, C4's head of sport, said that the companies were now finalising details of the deal, thought to be worth a total of £4 million. |

Shuffle Master reports Macau machine malfunction
Shuffle Master said that 47 of its Macau-based Stargames slot machines had been turned off by the Macau Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau because of a system glitch. A statement from the company said the same malfunction, which saw one gamer winning a false jackpot of HK$42 million, had occurred before and was being rectified. |
