Martin O'Neill going to West Ham !!
WEST HAM get their man ..
 Martin O'Neil is staying in the south .. probably one of the worst or best kept secrets around these parts of Wycombe  but Martin is now a 'Hammer' ...  Former Aston Villa boss Martin O’Neill is to replace Avram Grant at West Ham United with the London club poised to sack the manager this weekend, sources said today. Grant’s position has been under scrutiny for weeks following West Ham’s poor form this season. He looked to have seen off the threat after guiding them to just one defeat in the last seven games and to the verge of a Carling Cup final. But now sources have told Sky Sports News that Grant will be sacked after tonight’s match with Arsenal – no matter what the result. It is also claimed that the West Ham have already met with former Villa chief O’Neill - who looks ready to step back into management. O’Neill left Villa at the start of the season following a row over transfer policy with club owner Randy Lerner, and has been out of football since. Bookies’ odds on the 58-year-old Ulsterman replacing Grant were slashed from 20-1 on Thursday to 2-1 on with Paddy Power and 9-4 on with Star Sports.

Sullivan and Gold have handled this disgracefully....
They wanted Grant in the summer and got their man......Now they are dumping him halfway through the season They have spent virtually nothing since hes been there and now they are fighting a battle against relegation for the second season... What do they expect Grant to do with a team he inherited from Zola...  Qualify for the champions league...? When Sullivan,Gold and Brady were at Birmingham thay were up and down from the premier and Championship virtually every season and the same will happen here at West Ham. O'Neil and his no2 Robertson are a decent combination but they really didnt do much at Villa and they spent plenty there but couldnt attract the bigger named players. I fear the same will happen again at West Ham but with a much more limited budget. Grants done ok with what he had and lets not forget he was only a penalty away from winning the Champions League with Chelsea so that proves with a decent squad he can do the job.... You cant win the Derby with a horse rated 50......

wouldnt suprise me if williams won the derby with one of his lingfield flyers,the games bent and im now sticking to 10p each way 15s until cheltenham.
