Default Why use high st bookies....?

Really nowdays its a total waste of time and us punters are NOT getting value anymore in the high streets..

Today for example i did a five team acca in Ladbrookes..

PALACE @ 4/5

CARISLE @ 10/11

PRESTON @ EV

AFC WIMBLEDON @ 11/10

ROCHDALE @ 4/5

PAYS £259.75 FOR A £10 stake.....

The same bet online with BET365 pays......£479.00 for a £10 stake...

£220.00 difference for the same bet.....

Yes mate, same with early horse races , I popped in yesterday to watch a race in a Corals, there was eight machines around the walls .. ALL busy , however there was only two punters watching the races ..
High St bookies today is all about the machines with a fixed % profit ..

Some of the best days of my life have been spent in the bookies, having said that there must be a pub within 100 yards [ideally 30 yards] Beehive in bigg market, newcastle a good example, nothing beats a day in the pub with your mates and a bookies opposite especially when the races are on the telly, doesnt happen very often these days tho as we are all getting older and after 8 pints nobody can be arsed to walk them 30 yards,
