Default heres a question for those who like to analyse poker

I seem to have consistently better results in 6 max tourneys than 10 seaters , why ?

You can play a greater range of hands 6 handed versus 10 handed, just think of the cards in play, 20 cards in play in a 10 seater, that's nearly half the deck before the flop.

I much prefer the short handed game, you can represent more often, your opening range is much wider and you'll also have the all important position more times an hour than you will 10 handed. I think the short handed game suits the LAG player (this is definitely me) and 10 handed suits the TAG player more, just my opinion.

yea that makes a lot of sense tiredeyes , id always thought of myself as more of a TAG player , but perhaps i morph into its cousin on 6 max

You should have seen us last night on Ladbrokes
Played in a cash game (Hi Lo Omaha 6 seater) started at around 10 .00 finished 4 10am this morning
I play there on a new account after closing the last one after the 'horse share debacle' ..
Anyways i found i was playing some old faces from the past, some good Old boys ..Virgo8 (Ray from Dublin). Don Ferrari (just out of parole . hahaa), DrunkSanta, TexusLexus and Cian2 ..there were a couple of others that came and went (skinted)..

Anyways the jist of the game was , i got chatting with Virgo8 (he guessed i was Benny in disguise under new alsias) after about 5 mins and then the others joined in about 'the good old days' and stuff .. One of the most enjoyable online cash games i've every had.
Of course it also helped that between us we'd taken the cash off the strangers that popped in and out the game but it was as near as a live game as i've played online ..
