Manchester City - Record Breakers
Premier League records broken by Manchester City break this season (May 13 2018)l
Champions Manchester City beat Southampton 1-0 to get to 100 points and end their historic season with more Premier League records. They did miss out on breaking rivals United's record for the earliest title-winning date by a day, which was scuppered by their dramatic 3-2 derby defeat on April 7. The most-expensively assembled squad in world football (click here for full ranking) ended the campaign with 100 points, 32 wins (16 home, 16 away), 106 goals and a goal difference of +79!
