Just the two for us today, both Fav's but both well fancied

4 00 Chelt - Royal Illusion - 3rd - the winner 'The Glancing Queen' looks a very good one to follow
1 00 Lingf - Humanitarian - 1st 5/6f - easy winner - - eased down at the finish

Win each win double : That's all folks

Default Sat (Jan 5th 2019)

Looks like some fun racing at both Sandown and Wincanton but from a betting point of view, we'll stick with the racing at Cork in Ireland.

Paul Townend (my fav jockey - top man) has two rides for Willie Mullins and they'll be our bets today.

12.50 - Fast Buck (5/4) - 2nd - 9/4f
1.25 - Clinton Hill (11/8) - 0

Win each + e/way double - That's all folks

Default Sun (20th Jan)

With the thought of the Cheltenham Festival on the horizon in March, we're looking for some possible pointers and today we have three.
Two over in Ireland at Thurles and one down at Exeter.

Ex 1.45 - Haldon Hill (3/1) - 2nd - 9/2
Th 2.10 - Total Recall (2/1) - 3rd - Oh dear Ruby - last fence blunder, yet again
Th 2.40 - Camelia De Cotte (8/11) Nap - 1st - 11/10f Well she's a good un and great ride by Paul Townend - I think it's safe to say he'll be keeping this ride at Cheltenham in a mares chase.

That's all folks

Default Sat (26th Jan)

Four for us today and two over at Fairyhouse and two at Doncaster

Fa - 12.00 - Real Steel (11/10) - 1st (6/4f) Came clear after the last. Easy winner for Paul Townend and Willie Mullins.
Fa - 1.25 - Honeysuckle (7/4) - 1st (6/4) Another clear winner. Classy and off to the Cheltenham Festival me thinks
Do - 2.05 - Commander Barry (6/4) - 0 - Oh dear first to last
Do - 2.40 - Lady Buttons (10/11) - 1st - (Evs f) Looked always the winner - nearly caught though near the line.

That's all folks

Just a mention here for "Benny's Bridge" who won the last at Cheltenham at 8/1 Yes we did have a small e/w bet although not tipped by us he is clearly a well-handicapped horse and one to look out for in a handicap if he runs at the Festival meeting

Default Tues (29th Jan)

Three for today that could also be Cheltenham festival potentials - All three run over in Ireland at Down Royal.

1.10 - Peacocks Secret (11/4) - 2nd - 7/2
3.25 - Edat Des Mottes (9/4) - 0
4.25 - Golden Spread (2/1) - 2nd - No chance with the odds-on winner Andy Dufresne and that one could be the bumper winner at Cheltenham (very Impressive)

Win Patent + e/w Treble
That's all folks

One of our horses to follow and a winner for us last time in January is running in the 2.00 at Thurles - Real Steel Last night was (6/4) with 5 runners but with a horse withdrawn today he's now into 8/13.
However, we still think Paul Townend and Willie Mullins will win this prep race for Cheltenham -1st - 10/11f- -Yes he's a goodun
Cheltenham here we come ..
