West Ham 0-3 Brighton:
Slaven Bilic odds-on favourite to be next Premier League boss to be sacked ![]() Match report Slaven Bilic suffered surely the worst defeat of his spell as West Ham boss as they were thrashed 3-0 at home to Brighton. Two goals from Glenn Murray and a first Seagulls strike for Jose Izquierdo put the Croatian's future firmly back in the spotlight. Joint-owner David Sullivan even backed his manager before kick-off, saying he would be given the opportunity to at least see out his contract until the end of the season. ![]() But a clueless and shambolic performance, probably their most inept to date at the London Stadium, can only have set the alarm bells ringing. A win would have catapulted West Ham into the top 10 - but instead they could be in the bottom three by the end of the weekend. West Ham manager Slaven Bilic: "It was a bad performance. The first two goals killed us as we were dominant in between but they defended their box very well. "It is hard to say something clever now and it was very disappointing. We had been very good in training and had got some players back but that was not good enough and I take full responsibility. "It is not a good situation. The board will do what they want to do but we have been in this situation before and got out of it. I always believe in myself but it is not my decision. "I am not worried, I am doing my best and I don't want to hide." ![]() (Bennys view) Get Harry back here - Quick ![]()
