Default Had a bet !

Following Neil's advice i've had a medium size bet on Baltimore -7 @1.95

Dont ask me what that means All I know is he thinks its a good bet, although he has said for me to try and get -7 + 1/2
C'mon the Ravens

Also he think 49ers are monster to win the super bowl

Wink Thanks Neil

After seeing and hearing Neil Channing so bullish about the -7 spread on Baltimore V Patriots as i said before,
"I just had to bet it" !! GET IN !
With a three point difference at the end, we bagged the bookies money
'Cheers Neil I owe ya one'

Report on both games ~
GIANTS TO FACE PATRIOTS IN SUPER BOWL

Lawrence Tynes landed an overtime field goal as the New York Giants set up a Super Bowl repeat against New England Patriots.

Tynes, who was born in Scotland, slotted over from 31 yards to give the Giants a 20-17 victory over the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship game at Candlestick Park.

With the Patriots having edged out the Baltimore Ravens 23-20 in the AFC Championship game earlier on Sunday, the Giants will now look to emulate their 2008 success when they denied the Pats a perfect season to lift the Vince Lombardi Trophy.

Tynes, who kicked the winning field goal against Green Bay to set up the showdown with New England four years ago, said: "It's amazing. It's my second NFC Championship game and my second game-winner.

"I had dreams about this last night, but it was from 42 (yards) not 31.

"I was so nervous today, just anticipating this kind of game. I knew I was going to have to make a kick."

While Tynes was the hero of the hour, it was Eli Manning that provided the platform for the Giants in a game where defences were on top.

Manning threw two touchdown passes and went 32-of-58 for 316 yards in his record fifth road play-off win.

Manning found Bear Pascoe with a short pass to the right for a second quarter touchdown, while in the last period he connected with Mario Manningham from 17 yards.

Quarterback Alex Smith, who threw for 196 yard, twice combined with tight end Vernon Davis for touchdowns for the 49ers, while a 25-yard field goal by David Akers levelled the score at 17-17 to send the game into overtime.

However San Francisco's hopes were dashed following an error by Kyle Williams - with the Giants seizing possession after the 49ers receiver had fumbled possession on the 24-yard line.

Williams was stripped of the ball after he had taken Steve Weatherford's punt - and the Giants ran three times to set Tynes up for his winning kick.

In the AFC title match, Baltimore kicker Billy Cundiff missed a late 32-yard field goal to force overtime as his side bowed out.

Cundiff fluffed his lines with 11 seconds remaining following an excellent late drive led by quarterback Joe Flacco.

The Ravens could even have won it two plays earlier, but wide receiver Lee Evans was stripped of the ball in the end zone by cornerback Sterling Moore.

Cundiff had been successful with two earlier field goals, the first to tie the scores at 3-3 in the second quarter.

The Patriots moved 10-3 ahead with a seven-yard touchdown run from BenJarvus Green-Ellis, but the Ravens hit back when Flacco connected with tight end Dennis Pitta from six yards.

Two field goals from Stephen Gostkowski put the Patriots 16-10 ahead, but a 29-yard touchdown catch from Torrey Smith and Cundiff's second field goal made it 20-16 to the Ravens.

The home side responded with a 63-yard drive which resulted in quarterback Tom Brady - who did not throw for a touchdown for the first time in 36 games - diving into the end zone from one yard out.

Brady guided the Patriots to their fifth AFC championship in 11 seasons and will seek a fourth Super Bowl trophy in Brady and coach Bill Belichick's tenure on February 5 in Indianapolis.
