First game tonight guys and it should be a walk in the park for Brazil...
I dont see Croatia causing many problems so here are my bets... Im starting with an imaginary 200 points (£1 point) BRAZIL TO WIN ......3-0 @ 7/1.... 5 points. BRAZIL TO WIN ......4-0 @ 12/1...3 points BRAZIL TO WIN BOTH HALVES @ 2/1......15 points BRAZIL TO SCORE A PENALTY @ 6/1....5 points OVER 1.5 FIRST HALF GOALS @ 9/4.....10 points 38 points wagered More tomorrow...........

Not a great first game and Brazil got a little lucky...
They need to raise their game or they wont make the semis let alone winning the thing.... But a good start with the bets mainly thanks to the ref.....  Two landed..... BRAZIL TO SCORE A PENALTY @ 6/1....5 points OVER 1.5 FIRST HALF GOALS @ 9/4.....10 points So after staking 38 points we returned... 67.50 points.....So we now stand at ...... 229.50 points Tomorrow we will cover the Spain v Holland match.....

This should be a decent match tonight with the two group favs ... Spain are my pick to win the world cup and have a squad easily good enough although many think its an ageing one....  Holland for a change go into the comp as 35/1 shots after a few years in the doldrums but they are not as bad as some think and i see this being a cagey affair.. DRAW with BOTH TEAMS SCORING @ 9/2..........8 points SPAIN TO WIN 3-1 @ 16/1................5 points HOLLAND TO WIN 2-1 @ 18/1............3 points SPAIN TO SCORE PEN @ 8/1..............3 points HOLLAND TO SCORE PEN @ 16/1........2 points TOTAL POINTS.......21

Final score...
SPAIN 1 HOLLAND 5 ............ My thoughts are.... Spain bossed the first half and were the better team until Van Persie scored a goal he would never score again....If i was a Man Utd fan i would be rather unhappy.... Van Persie obviously was saving himself for the world cup as he hardly played a game for United since Feb..... Then if you disallow the Croatia goal last night you have to disallow the Dutches second .... The third was a clamity by the keeper as was the fourth.... David Villa was shocking for Spain as was Buscatts and Alonso and Costa... There are five changes they need to make... But its only the first match and Spain lost the first match in South Africa so not all is lost just yet. I have gone back in at 12/1 for Spain as i cant see them not qualifying from the group and then its back to being anyones... Bets landed tonight... SPAIN TO SCORE PEN @ 8/1..............3 points Returns.....27 points After tonight we now stand at ... 235 points Tomorrows match will be the BIG ONE.. England v Italy And after tonights result maybe just maybe it could be 1966 all over again....
