DAILY MIRROR
•Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero could be out for eight weeks with the knee injury suffered against Everton at the weekend, says manager Manuel Pellegrini.
•Crystal Palace are eyeing a January move for Norwich keeper John Ruddy. Everton are also believed to be interested in re-signing the 28-year-old, who left for Goodison Park for Carrow Road in 2010.
•Former Spurs and Arsenal defender Sol Campbell is being lined up to launch his coaching career with Ajax.
•Aston Villa are facing a midfield injury crisis after Ashley Westwood was ruled out for up to a month. His fellow midfielders Fabian Delph, Tom Cleverley and Joe Cole are already either doubtful or out of Saturday's derby against West Brom.
•Stoke centre-back Ryan Shawcross admits he finds his England snub hard to accept. Shawcross made his solitary Three Lions appearance two years ago.

THE SUN
•Hull City have slapped a £6million price tag on defender Curtis Davies, who is a target for Sunderland and Leicester.
•Mark Hughes insists Stoke will not sell forward Bojan in January after his recent form alerted clubs across Europe.
•Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger wants to sign Legia Warsaw defensive midfielder Krystian Bielik, 16.

THE TELGRAPH
•Manchester United remain confident of signing 24-year-old Dutch midfielder Kevin Strootman - but the move could be delayed until the summer if curreht club Roma reach the Champions League knockout stages.

THE EXPRESS
•Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal has dismissed suggestions that he needs to strengthen his defence in January.
•But the Dutchman is hoping to bring Bayern Munich and ex-Chelsea winger Arjen Robben, 30, back to the Premier League in January.
•Meanwhile, United, Chelsea and Arsenal are all interested in Monaco's Portuguese midfielder Joao Moutinho, 28, who is rated at £30m.

DAILY MAIL
•Liverpool are continuing to look at Chelsea's out-of-favour Petr Cech and Stoke's Asmir Begovic as a replacement for under-fire keeper Simon Mignolet, but are set to miss out on Cologne's Timo Horn.
•Meanwhile, Mario Balotelli has been made Liverpool's featured player for January in their official 2015 calendar - saving them any embarrassment if he departs Anfield in the transfer window.

THE GAURDIAN
•Manuel Pellegrini says his job would not be in danger if Manchester City were eliminated from the Champions League at Roma tonight.

THE INDEPENDENT
•Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero, 26, could be out for as long as eight weeks after straining his medial knee ligament against Everton on Saturday.
