Default Sundays Premier League round-up:

Premier League Sunday results:
Chelsea steal win at Newcastle, victories for Fulham and Watford (August 26 2018)

Chelsea steal win at Newcastle, victories for Fulham and Watford - a look back at Sunday's action in the Premier League...

Newcastle 1-2 Chelsea: Controversial penalty and own goal ends Blues' winless run at St James' Park

DeAndre Yedlin's late own goal preserved Chelsea's perfect start to the new Premier League season as stubborn Newcastle saw a point snatched from their grasp.

The Magpies thought they had banked a point when substitute Joselu headed home an 83rd-minute equaliser to cancel out Eden Hazard's penalty seven minutes earlier.

However, their joy was short-lived when Yedlin could only help Marcos Alonso's drive into his own net with three minutes remaining as Rafael Benitez's ultra-defensive masterplan failed to deny the visitors a first league win at St James' Park since December 2011 in front of a crowd of 51,791.

Fulham 4-2 Burnley: Aleksandar Mitrovic double gets Cottagers off the mark

Aleksandar Mitrovic and Andre Schurrle fired Fulham to their first points of the season as they beat Burnley 4-2.

Serbian striker Mitrovic, whose 12 goals on loan last term helped Fulham to promotion back to the Premier League, set about the task of keeping them there in style.

Jeff Hendrick had cancelled out a stunning goal from Ivory Coast midfielder Jean Michael Seri when Mitrovic, now a permanent fixture at Craven Cottage following his £22million switch from Newcastle, struck with two headers in two minutes.

James Tarkowski pulled one back for Burnley but Schurrle's late strike ensured Sean Dyche's side, beaten in Europa League qualifying by Olympiakos on Thursday, were left empty-handed.

Watford 2-1 Crystal Palace: Hornets continue the perfect start to 2018/19 season

Second-half goals from Roberto Pereyra and Jose Holebas helped Watford continue their perfect start to the Premier League season, beating Crystal Palace 2-1.

Etienne Capoue had been fortunate to avoid a red card, escaping with only a yellow for an early foul on Wilfried Zaha before creating Pereyra's third goal of the season.

A fortunate second from Jose Holebas, which appeared to be an overhit cross, then secured Watford's third victory from three on a disappointing afternoon for their visitors, who scored late on through Zaha and pushed for another.

The chance Palace needed eventually arrived in stoppage time, but from directly in front of goal, Joel Ward headed just wide of the right post.
