Has Faldo lost the plot...?
[SIZE="2"]This mornings foursomes...No WESTWOOD or GARCIA...
Westwood unbeaten in 12 Ryder cup matches equalling Arnold Parmers record... and Garcia one of the few european players who shows any passion another to miss out.... This was always going t0 be the problem having Faldo in charge, hes too self opinionated and its his way or nothing..... I can see the Europeans going into the singles needing to win 9 out of 12 to retain the cup the way things are going at the moment.. This mornings parings... Ryder Cup 2008 - Cink/ Campbell vs Poulter/ Rose Book Closes 20 Sep 13:05 Stewart Cink & Chad Campbell v Ian Poulter & Justin Rose Leonard/ Mahan vs Miguel A. Jimenez/ McDowell Mickelson/ Anthony Kim vs Stenson/ Wilson Furyk/ Perry vs Harrington/ Karlsson 2-2 Looks the best result we can hope for this morning.. |

We need our "stars" to stand up and be counted, Garcia making excuses about not being well is a bad sign. Westwood, Harrington and Casey have been poor by their standards. Lets hope we play well in the singles and pinch the cup from the Americans.
If we dont then I can see Faldo getting criticism that I dont believe he deserves, his controversial pick has been by far and away our best player. He will have been let down by Garcia etc. |

Have to agree there PT...
Poulter has been superb as has Mcdowell...
I think Faldo might have made a mistake loading up the last three games..The Americans did this once with Woods and Big Phil and by the time their games would have counted it was all over Think my first five would have been CASEY STENSON GARCIA POULTER WESTWOOD Points on the board is what is needed to get the momentum going .. |
