Default just would like to............

get your opinions about this.....

Down to last 20 in the $5 turbo when this happened...

Pkt cards AKd.........i raise for 4k ...one caller....2 callers....3rd all in for 10k

i call and so does the other two.......

Three of us show AK.....Player 3 shows 88.......of course they hold up...

Then the $2500....im going ok 2nd chippy on the table...

pkt cards 66 ...I raise to 800 one caller,,Flop AA6...I bet 1k but re raised all in by chippy......call to see k6........flop K turn K......

Of course you all know what site it was on...

Default well

The first hand ...is a turbo so its a 5 or 7 min level ... in that situation its going to be action and all 4 players did nothing wrong but AK x 3 hands against 88 are all drawing to 6 outs (without flush or straight draws) any pair against that is a monster...the only thing you could have done ,would be to pass to the raisers...but in a turbo If it was a long game or the WSOP, well it's an easy pass..but a $5 turbo ..dont beat yourself up ..

the 2nd question ...i dont understand, not enough info on chip stacks and how deep in the tourney ..but it sounds like another Laddies bad beat

unlky m8 ..

Default my point on the first was...

another Laddies "action hand" to get rid of a few players...

everyone was in pre flop....

The second i had 8k he had 11k still 80 odd left in.....

Default Action Hands

Funny you should mention this....

But I think its any tourney on any site... its funny, I look at at some of my best wins, and I can usually put my finger on a good lay down. As Benny says, laying down AK is sometimes tough, but if I'm in postion with AK and there is an out of position raise, I will often lay it down. (Don't want to even see a flop with AK to spike the K and go out to the inevitable AA!)

I do however, find laying down KK, QQ, and JJ much harder, and invariably go out, when the Action Hand AK hits.

But I have had the same thought for some time... Action hands, and especially as you reach the bubble.

Default Yes Lee.....

This was down to the last 20...and ive never seen AK delt to 3 players

The same action hand thing happened to me in the 2k pl omaha..

we had been heads up for about 30 mins till flop came 22a im holding a2

turn another ace river 3 all in to find he has a3.......

sometimes i wonder if laddies just want the table back...
