Default poker torture.

With the bad weather comes Dongle problems for taylormade during the week,as I work away from home and need my dongle for internet access, was playing the $20,000 guaranteed on laddies last night, won a few nice pots and got upto 20,000+ chips in about 20th place with a hundred left,Im on BB and random card generator decides to give me A-A,action all way round up to me and the pot stands at 15,000 with 4 players in the hand and chips still available,I go all-in and at this exact moment in time lose my connection and time-out of hand, get back to see a 30,000+ pot won by k-k,a little bit miffed,I end up donking off my chips and end up in about 70th place, moral of this story is dont play poker on your dongle when theres a blizzard howling outside your window, gla

put your bad poker experiences down here to help cheer me up,Im convinced I was going to win it last night, benny and herbie be brief as Im sure you have a few tales to tell and dont fancy reading a novel.

Cool

Unlucky 'taylormade'.. What can I say, I have days online when I'm so good, I cream my knickers at some of the moves i make ..
But then only I can be chip leader in a game tonight, (70 runners top 8 to be paid) .. Down to last 15, chip leader .. managed to lose half my stack, 12 left , all-in clash and lose, down to 1500 chips and out in 10th place ..

Only I could do that ... (muppet)

gazumped in same tourney last night,my a-q beaten by a-j,think this game needs to be the next herbie challenge, finished in about 70th place again, seems with this tourney you need to survive first 3 hrs, then get aggressive and say a little prayer, lots of all-ins and bluffing going on,its so hard to call a bluff when you got nout, but im feeling my nout might be better than his nout,I must get more discipline and call these bluffers,I wont be finishing 70th again,Im noticing on laddies poker, how little runs of cards are occuring again, had a solid hour of 2-7,3-10 etc, then a litttle run of playable hands, needless to say playable hand sent me to bed.

Fairly standard play by some players for tournaments, 'sitting tight, then if low chips find a spot to shove any Ace rag will do'..
Or if a player has been busy and got a big stack, they could be bullying the small stacks from position !!

Sounds like a good fast-ish structure Taylor, what game on Laddies is it ? We could all play

I played a $15 freeze out on 'ipoker' (Black Belt Poker) ('150' runners)this afternoon ..
No interest in the racing and the snow was up to my bollks, just had the football commentary on West Ham (sigh) ..
Anyways, with no distractions I managed to come 3rd for $220 so tonight i'm chilled out on wine and jelly babies

glk mate

I fear for hammers this season, too many players havent got heart for the fight, upson and parker only battlers there, also seem to have little or no luck in front of goal, goal difference of bottom 3 says it all, going to be a tuff season for you benny,
