thought you were going to say I was cruising in the carribean, observing the scantily clad ladies, then you spoil the story with an unlucky river card event.

well played herbie, its 95% luck at that stage, you came back well a few times,I have no excuse for my play, shouldnt have called raise pre-flop,and my all-in was pathetic as i knew limerick boy had bigger kicker.Im still the champion tho,3rd places dont count. Try again next week, gl

thanks m8, 3rd is quite good for a game that I never got a chip stack of any note until we were down to 3.
A J from early position - have you learned a lesson there? Tired, thats a sick way to lose. I hate it when you know its going to come. |

I knew it was wrong when i called before the flop, not sure why i called the raise, boredom, the a-j looked pretty, our lass was moaning about not paying her any attention,I could of sat and made final table but thats not the taylormade way,Im trying to be more solid in my play at that stage, but when i see suited cards it excites me and i struggle not to see flop, I can accept seeing the flop, but my all-in against a player I knew had me out-kicked and the chip leader who could of had anything[trips] was terrible play and didnt need to be done and was very poor play, unfortunately I will probably do same thing again, but not next week as the pain of that play will last for a few days. Im not a live and learn type of bloke, this my strength and my failure.
