The Players Championship Golf 2011
The 5th major the Players starts tomorrow deom Sawgrass...
Famous for it 17th Island Green hole this course is one of the hardest on tour.. From a betting view i have taken four against the field.. TIGER WOODS @ 16/1....Always worth an investment as if hes anywhere near the lead his price will shorten. At the Masters he was 18/1 before the tournement started and going into the last nine holes on the Sunday you could have laid off at evens for a tidy profit... DUSTIN JOHNSON @ 45/1....Long and straight hitter who has played well here before...Should be up there come Sunday when this price will look massive. SERGIO GARCIA @ 50/1...Sometimes theres a story behind a winner and with the sad death of Seve how apt it would be if a fellow Spaniard was to win here.... Garcia was the winner of this tournement in 2008 so is proven round here with a couple of top ten finishes to go with the win. ANGEL CABRERRA @ 160/1...Big hitter should pick up plenty of birdies on the par 5s and that could be the key to him doing well this week., I would suggest a WIN BET on TIGER with the option to lay off.. The other three look E/W value with most bookies paying 5 or 6 places 1/4 odds...
