Good Read but.... Whenever there is cash involved and the sites taking a rake, statistically you will always loose in the long run without an edge.
As a result can I blame those who have them (and actually know how to use them!) No Can I choose not to play - Yes I can. As you know Benny, I like my poker... But I can say I have not played online for a while now. Cash bores me for most of the reasons in this article - I now play very infrequently. When I do, its the anonomous tables, but I still prefer tourneys - Its the long game rather than the hit and run type (or hit and sit out type as per the article) but with work and family I cannot find the time to sit and play. I cannot justify joining a game that I know if I FT or go deep will not finish until a few hours before I have to get up and I am not to start if I do not think I can finish. I will return, but I cannot see anything they can do about it... everyone is looking for that edge. |
