THE SUN

•Chelsea and Manchester United have been dealt a blow in their chase for Paul Pogba after Juventus said there was no chance they would sell him.
•Salomon Kalou could be fined around £7,000 for using a hammer and chisel on the Berlin Wall. The ex-Chelsea star, who now plays for Hertha Berlin, was being filmed for a TV show.
•Reading's Garath McCleary was caught up in a race row on Monday night. The midfielder claimed he was abused by a fan in the Bradford end just before half-time in their FA Cup tie.

•Sunderland are set to appoint Dick Advocaat as Gus Poyet's replacement for the rest of the season but the club's target for the long term is West Ham manager Sam Allardyce.
•Chelsea target Douglas Costa has issued a come-and-get-me plea as he admits he is ready to leave Shakhtar.

•Gus Poyet was glad to be sacked by Sunderland and angled for moves to West Ham and Crystal Palace after falling out with sporting director Lee Congerton.
•Former Cardiff and Newcastle striker Michael Chopra is training with League One club Port Vale.

•Dick Advocaat will be paid £1million if he manages to keep Sunderland in the Premier League. The ex-Netherlands and Rangers boss will be paid a £500,000 bonus on top of his salary if the Black Cats avoid relegation.
•Newcastle defender Davide Santon has made his move from Tyneside to Inter Milan a permanent one.

•Dick Advocaat is on the verge of being appointed the manager of Sunderland on a short-term basis with Steve McClaren the long-term target.
