•Aston Villa's Christian Benteke has emerged as a possible transfer target for Manchester United this summer with boss Louis van Gaal looking to bolster his attacking options.
•Manchester City have been warned they will have to smash their wage structure to bring Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti to the club, if they decide to axe Manuel Pellegrini.
•Arsenal are stepping up their interest in Juventus defender Daniele Rugani, currently on loan with Empoli where he has proved impressive.

THE PEOPLE
•Arsenal and Manchester City have been put on alert by the news that Real Madrid will consider offers of £35m for Spanish sensation Isco this summer.
•Everton face battle to keep Romelu Lukaku as PSG, Wolfsburg and Dortmund target Belgian striker.
•Manchester United midfielder Angel Di Maria, 27, has told the club he wants to stay and is set to extend the lease on his new family home.
•Tottenham want to sign Everton midfielder Kevin Mirallas and are prepared to allow winger Aaron Lennon to make his Goodison Park loan switch permanent as part of the deal.

•Manuel Pellegrini believes he will be sacked by Manchester City if they fail to reach the Champions League.
•Brendan Rodgers says Manchester City should forget about signing Raheem Sterling as Liverpool are a bigger club. But Sterling, 20, could buy out the last year of his contract, leaving Chelsea and Manchester City clear to make £25m offers.

•West Ham will target Everton boss Roberto Martinez if they decide not to stand by Sam Allardyce.
•FC Dnipro's Ukraine winger Yevhen Konoplyanka will turn down £85,000 a week from West Ham because he has his heart set on a move to Arsenal.
•Burnley striker Danny Ings wants to stay in the Premier League next season but only if he is guaranteed a regular role.
•Mauricio Pochettino fears England call-ups will eventually cost Tottenham a place in Europe.

•Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers claimed it will take Manchester City 20 years to become as big a club as the Anfield outfit.
•Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is scouting 22-year-old Fulham keeper Marcus Bettinelli with a view to bringing him in as a replacement for Petr Cech. He would be understudy to No 1 keeper Thibaut Courtois.

•In-demand Burnley striker Danny Ings says he will only join Manchester United or Liverpool if he has guarantees he will be in the first team.
