Default Saturdays Premier Review

Premier League round-up:

Bournemouth come from behind to beat West Brom (March 17 2018)

Review from Saturday's action in the Premier League.

Premier League results

Bournemouth 2-1 West Brom
Huddersfield 0-2 Crystal Palace
Stoke 1-2 Everton
Liverpool 5-0 Watford

Mohamed Salah was sensational for Liverpool as they recorded a comfortable 5-0 victory over Watford at Anfield.

The Egyptian scored four of their five as he moves onto 28 goals for the Premier League campaign, firmly putting himself ahead in the race for the Golden Boot.

Roberto Firmino struck the third as Jurgen Klopp's men moved up to third in the standings.

Stoke City’s potential relegation woes got worse as they were defeated 2-1 by Everton at the Bet365 Stadium.

Sam Allardyce’s men took the lead through Cenk Tosun when he struck in the second-half.

Eric Choupo-Moting equalised despite Stoke being reduced to ten men when Charlie Adam was shown a straight red card in the first-half.

Tosun hit again with ten minutes remaining to give the visitors all three points.

The result moved Everton two points clear of Watford in 10th whilst Stoke now sit two points from safety.

Crystal Palace secured a 2-0 victory over Huddersfield Town in a relegation six-pointer at the John Smith’s Stadium.

James Tomkins got the first goal as his effort from close range beat Jonas Lossl.

Milivojevic then dispatched a second-half penalty to secure the victory for Roy Hodgson’s side.

The win means Palace move out of the relegation zone and drag Huddersfield closer to the drop, with David Wagner’s men now sitting just three points above 18th.

Bournemouth came from behind to secure all three points in a 2-1 win over West Brom.

Jay Rodriguez’s close range shot beat Asmir Begovic to put the Baggies in minutes into the second-half.

Jordan Ibe prevented the visitors responded when he struck with just over ten minutes remaining.

Junior Stanislas then fired in with minutes remaining to inflict more misery on Alan Pardew’s men.

The result sees West Brom still ten points adrift of safety at the bottom of the Premier League, Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth moved eight points away from the drop.
