Euro 2008 Football Comp
hi guys just wanted to run something by you that i am very interested in doing.
what i am looking to do is start with a bank of £25 and place one bet per day (everyday) at £5.00 (so we have a starting bank of 5 bets) we will all work together to try and find the best value bet for that day, i will put up different markets and would like you all to give ur views on the markets available for that day then once everyone has added their input we will take out the 3 most popular selections and we will take a vote to find our "bet of the day" once euro 2008 has finished any money that is in the bank will go into a prizepool for a stt/mtt where anyone can join who added something to the challenge so for example lets say after the final of euro 2008 we have a bank of £95 then this £95 will be added to a stt/mtt where anyone who took part in this challenge can pay $5 to enter lets just say we get 12 people from here who make a contribution to the discussion then that will be 12 x $5 plus $190 from the euro2008 betting, givng us a total of $250 prizepool all bets will be placed by me, i am putting up the £25, once its gone its gone (but we wont have 5 losing bets  )are you guys intersted in taking part? thnx in advance

A great gesture which im sure will attract plenty of footie fans off the forum..Thanks m8..........  Once we get going i will make it a sticky in the footie section..

cheerz mate
im looking to call it "talksport vs the bookies" challenge is to end euro 2008 in profit, then all have a good friendly game of poker after it
i do this on another forum, we started it at the start of last season and we all added £25 (23 of us altogether) so we started with a bank of £575 and we placed a £50 single every single saturday, and once we built are bank up we started placing £100 and sometimes £200 singles we ended the season with £7042 and we just divided it up between ourselves 2 guys dissappeared b4 the season ended so it was divid up between 21 of us where we all got £335 each was a good laugh over the course of the season Last edited by themanwiththeknow; May 31st, 2008 at 16:38.
