Furious Coleen jets in from Spain to confront husband Wayne Rooney over arrest and give him final warning

FURIOUS Coleen Rooney jetted in from Majorca yesterday to confront her husband.

Close pals of the couple warned she is worried he is “going off the rails” and has put him on a final warning.

Col, who is four months pregnant, had been enjoying a break with the couple’s three sons, Kai, seven, Klay, four, and one-year-old Kit when news broke of Wayne’s drink-driving arrest.

The 31-year-old was described as “livid and embarrassed” after the revelations — said to follow a series of incidents which have made friends *worried about the footballer’s behaviour.

A source close to the couple revealed: “Coleen and Wayne’s inner circle of close friends have been very concerned over the last couple of months about his behaviour.

“There’s a feeling he is going off the rails.

“Coleen has previously put him on a final warning to shape up and this has emphasised the need for real change.”

Liverpool-born Rooney, 31, recently rejoined his beloved Everton after *making 393 appearances for Manchester United.

The source added: “Coleen and his team hoped the move to Everton would be a fresh start, but it doesn’t look that way now.

“It’s not fair for someone who is four months pregnant to be going through this stress.

"She’s been there before with Wayne and her tendency is to stick by him through thick and thin. But she does want to see some real change.”

The Sun can reveal that Coleen went “berserk” after hearing the news of her husband’s arrest and tried to get in contact with him.

But she was unable to reach him as he was still in custody.

She then began ringing around the couple’s friends and families.

It is believed she spoke with both Leanne Brown and Tanya Bardsley — the wives of Wayne’s former Old Trafford team-mates Wes and Phil.

Coleen phoned pal Tanya Bardsley to find out what had been going on

Last night a friend said: “Coleen was absolutely raging at Wayne.

“She went berserk at him before she called several of their closest friends.

“She rang Tanya and Leanne to see what had been going on. And she also rang the wife of Paul Stretford, his long-time agent.

“Wayne was grovelling more than ever last night.

“Coleen told him he needs to get help with his drinking because he can never say no when he’s out.”
