Now this exiting format reaches the world stage and tomorrow the first matches take place. A three team round robin to start and the top two teams going into the super eights. Now as most tournements nowdays position is crucial and this is no exception, winners of group A and C play runners up from Group B and D and reversed formula in other group, top two in each play semi final.
So i am suggesting a little bet on.... Sri Lanka at around 7/1.Masters of the quicker formula with some of the fastest run makers representing them
Also as a position bet i think the West Indias could spring a surprise and at around 12/1 could end up in the semis at least. They could get into a very weak 1/4 group if ist round matches go to form.
So it looks like we will have three weeks of top class entertaining cricket to fill our days.
