Darts world championship.....
Now i love a bet on the darts as the value is great if you can get on early. If you are betting on the exchanges even better because at the big early prices you can lay off later.
These are my anti post selections........ COLIN LLOYD...(65/1)............OUT JOHN PART...(50/1)..........1/4 finals Now 8/1...................Part now in semis 2/1 PART IN THE FINAL.........now 4/7 MERVIN KING...(110/1).....................................OUT ADRIAN LEWIS...(22/1)...in 1/4 final now 7/1.......OUT but laid off £150 AT 7/1 profit of £100 Also had MARDLE AT 40/1........................ semi finals....now 9/4............out semi final Now thats two from each half to give us some value. well i had £50 o Part at 50/1 and £30 on Lewis, but also had £30 on the other two...i have backed MANLY at 66/1 and MARDLE AT 40/1 but for tenners, i can lay off a bit now, thats the idea of these bets...

The final...........
Well i started with four pre tournement and added Mardle after the first round. What a good result, firstly PART has made the final and is now 4/6 to win i was on at 50/1 and although laid a little off before the semi final still have a nice few hundred to pick up either way.
Laid Lewis at 4/1 before the 1/4 final and got a little lucky as he went out at that stage so i made a small profit on the bet. Mardle who i backed after the tournement had started was not really worth laying at the price he was trading at as he had to play Taylor in the 1/4s but what a win that was and took the good sense to lay him off for over half of my winnings and also to back Shepherd to win outright at a massive 14/1 yesterday morning thus giving me one finalist gtd........Well just as i thought Mardles final was the night before when he beat Taylor and he under performed in the semis going down 6 - 4. My other two selections did not fair too well but hey thats betting for you, So if anyone took my pre tournemet advise and had a litle dabble then i hope you are celebrating today...................
