This April, we're putting a 'spring' back in your step with the inaugural Black Belt East End Live, braced to grace the Aspers Casino in Stratford.

With a $75,000 guaranteed prize pool and a deep structure, the East End Live represents great value, and is the perfect opportunity for both pros and amateurs alike to showcase their skills at the live felt.

Although the Main Event is a highly affordable $200+20, we understand that players are working within various bankrolls, and so are catering for all wallet sizes with an array of satellites throughout the week.

The full schedule of weekly satellites are as follows:

The satellites can be located under Scheduled > Black Belt Tournaments, but you can also buy in by purchasing a seat in the Black Belt Poker Store. To use your Spending Points, all you have to do is sign in to the community, click Store and select your favoured satellite under the Online Tournaments tab.

With starting stacks of 20,000 and a 45-minute clock, the Black Belt East End Live is unique in that it offers players the chance to play a deep-stacked tournament at an affordable price.

Congratulations on being Orange Belt status in the Belt-Up Rewards System! Never before have we experienced such a busy period, and now is a great time to be playing on Black Belt Poker.

If you're enjoying your third month as an Orange Belt, then you can look forward to participating in our first ever Grab a Grand Freeroll on Thursday, March 8 and competing for an incredible $1,000 in online tournament entries. The package includes an eclectic mix of tournaments including High Roller Monday, the $200,000 Guaranteed, an Irish Open Super Satellite, and many other great events.

If you've only just joined the ranks of Orange, then you won't be missing out; if you maintain your Belt (or higher) for just two months, then you will automatically be entered into our second Grab a Grand in June. If ever there were a reason to avoid slipping back to Yellow, then this is it. And don't forget, if you get up to Purple or Green, your prize will increase to $1,250 and $1,500 respectively.

Also included in the prize for Grab a Grand is free entry into Samurai, a brand spanking new quarterly event with a $250+25 buy-in and $10,000 guaranteed prize pool. If the entry fee makes your eyes water, then look no further than our weekly satellites which take place every Monday, Thursday and Friday at 20:30 with $5+0.50 feeders on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Our qualifiers aren't the only route into Samurai: the Black Belt Poker League will return on Tuesday, March 13 for its 14th outing. This time around, we'll be giving away three free seats into the Main Event (including the winner of the Second Chance SNG), whilst anyone who partakes in all eight legs will receive 200 in bonus Belt Points. If you've never played the League before, then this would be a great time to make your debut.

Of course, Samurai wasn't the only major event to be announced recently. From April 20-22, Black Belt Poker will be heading to the Aspers Casino in Stratford, Olympic Park for the Black Belt East End Live, a $200+20 live event with a deep structure, Belt bonuses and a $75,000 guaranteed prize pool. If you've attended a Black Belt Live event before, then you'll already know that they are undoubtedly some of the most enjoyable events on the poker calendar.

Entry is currently available via the cardroom lobby, either via direct buy-in or by purchasing a token in the Black Belt Poker Store in exchange for Spending Points. You may also want to try your luck at one of our qualifiers. Every week, we give away four guaranteed seats into the Main Event, including two in Wednesday's $25+2.50 satellite. Black Belt Poker may be throwing around the value, but iPoker are doing their bit too: from March 1, the total monthly guaranteed prize pools for MTTs will increase to a whopping $500,000 with changes made to a plethora of tournaments such as the $15,000 Guaranteed Rebuy (now $20,000!) and the $1,000 GP Daily Dollar Rebuy (now $1,500). Also, iPoker have introduced a Late Registration option, meaning that if you're late home from work, you can still take advantage of the potential overlays on offer.
