Forum poker league

Ok guys , was talking to Tony about this back along , so sure he wont mind me gauging interest .
If i set up a winter poker league for forum members , how many of you would be interested ?
my initial thoughts were setting up one on stanjames, say a 8 pm start, weekday, 2000 chips 10 min levels ..something like a $5 entry, with usual payout structures and run a weekly leaderboard , with say the overall winner getting a prize .

whats your thoughts people ? if interested or any input to the idea please post .

Nice idea Dobie, however we did have a league amongst ourselves several years back .. It was ok and we did have a laugh, the problem was numbers ..
I think we ended up with only 7 or 8 max playing ..

For me I play less these days 'online' than i used to with tournaments, although i do play Mondays and Tuesdays on BBP, with the occasional cash game for an hour or so around the weekend ..

I guess what with work and the dog + the 'jumps season getting into full swing (studying form you know) .. there's only so many hours , so i'll pass on this ..

lost interest in poker Dobie, and if i remember correct Tiredeyes can make 2000 chips last a month and it isnt pretty, Benny tries to bluff every other hand,Herbie is getting alzheimers, Tony wants 1000 chips more than the rest at start, Bally isnt allowed to play after 7pm on workdays,pokerplaya is always skint,part-timer is always drunk and the rest of the forum only play pocket aces, think tiredeyes would prefer 20 million chips and one hour blinds, think poker is dying.

so really we need a DEEPSTACK SUPERSTACK FREEROLL, with hand ranking reminders every 2 mins and rest breaks every 15 for alcohol..and everyone will be good to go ..

That was sooooo 2002, typical geordie, living in the past.
